I went to the local Super Walmart where we live for grocery shopping last Saturday morning. While the cashier was ringing me up for the whole chicken I wanted to purchase she was overriding the store price to charge me 50 cents less per pound. She told me she was charging the price of another store's ad price. She said that they are supposed to do this for customers, but very few of the cashiers know competitors' ad prices. I have shopped there for the last 1 1/2 years and never knew that I could bring in competitor's ads to get their price. I'm tingling with anticipation for the money I'm going to save on groceries.
