Pastry for Single Crust Pie
3 beaten eggs
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup butternut squash puree
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 cup chopped ham
1 tablespoon flour
Dash of salt and pepper
Preheat 450
1. Prepare your favorite pastry for a single crust pie. I make the Bob's Red Mill whole wheat pastry flour pastry recipe. Bake the pastry in a 450 degree oven for 8 minutes.
2. In a bowl stir eggs, flour, salt, pepper, squash, and milk until well blended. Stir in ham and cheese.
3. Pour into hot pastry shell. Bake in a 325 degree oven 45 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool for 10 minutes.
Enjoy!
