We had some fun this morning in honor of Dr Suess's birthday. We had scrambled green eggs and ham, and Ashlynn read us Green Eggs and Ham. Jacob and Ashlynn always loved me reading them a Dr Suess book when they were small. His books hold so many wonderful memories for me.

I'm impressed. I might have *thought* of doing this, but not accomplished it. Your kids' pictures reminded me so much of my kids at that age! I can hear myself saying, "Smile, Dane, (my son), I want to take your picture!" And "hold up the book"--which was a very cute addition, I might add. Reading the story, too--you must be a very organized person, are you?
My daughter, Kelsey, loves Dr. Seuss books. She is 20 and read several recently (she nannies).
Blessings,
Wendy
Yay for Dr. Seuss! Bella already has a soft spot for him. She is obsessed with The Grinch, though.
When I was teaching kindergarten we had really fun parties to celebrate this day and we made green eggs and ham. It can be such a fun day!! Glad you guys had a good time! You're such a good teacher!

Thank you all for the nice comments.
Wendy, I try to be organized, but I could work more on it. I think that I am really lucky most of the time, and things just fall into place.
My kids LOVE green eggs and ham (the book and the food).
Found you through FF.
